Taken with a Sony DSC-S40 back in November 2005. Yea, twas just point and shoot for me back then. I only used to borrow cameras cuz I didn’t have one. But I had learned to love photography anyway. There’s something in the photos that make my heart lighter. It puts a silly grin on my face.
I digress.
If you would take a look at the EXIF data, you’ll notice how this photo became significant to me. Why I realised there’s more about photography I wish to learn and experience that a p/s can’t give me.
The photo was taken outdoors, out on the lawn, under 11-ish Australian sunlight.
I guess, sometimes, people get like that, too. Let a light hit the subject, take a mental snapshot, the rest are in shadows. The whole thing somehow misrepresents, yea? I’m not saying it’s wrong. Like in photography, it’s all in the composition. Your photos are your art anyway.
Life is a blank canvas.
Trivia: the ticket was for a football match, a date with J. Twas the first time for me to witness and experience what it was like to be in the stands, chanting and cheering.
