Developing depth of sight, one of the things that I’ve learned to appreciate about photography. I reckon my pensive nature is drawn to that quality.
Your eyes choose to focus on what you want to focus on. Sometimes, you’re choices are clouded by pre-conceived notions or, perhaps, limited to the narrowness of your mind.
Having tasted the control, whets my appetite to stretch it till it reaches its breaking point. Persistently trying it at every angle possible. This newfound power is both overwhelmingly frustrating and consumingly liberating.
In my eyes, a ring bind is no longer just a ring bind. It’s something that has structure. It has a purpose. In my eyes, the subject goes far beyond the metal circles that holds parchment together.
It’s now a ring that binds what was, what is, and what will be.
