It’s amazing how quickly I reached the halfway mark of this little project. Good thing I didn’t push myself to blog each day or I would’ve given up early on since my schedule at the moment won’t allow it. Might’ve missed a day or two, or something. So I just kept on track with taking the daily photos even when I couldn’t take them at similar times of the day — just told myself to get at least one photo session in then worry about the post later. Seems to be working so far.. I’m happy!
DAY 15 • 05 April
‘Twas pretty much a normal day (it means nothing uncommon going on). I noticed how I’ve settled on a routine, which involves work, reading/researching, and the skincare ritual. The only thing that I had to get used to was taking the supplements after my morning and night meals. This was actually a good thing. It’s pushing me to eat regularly — not because I need to take the meds, it’s because I’m hungry, haha.
I reckon I mentioned that I’ve been taking the dietary supplement combo: ageLOC Y-Span and LifePak. These supplements serve as my multi-vits (plus throw in that bit on anti-ageing). Taking this combo has increased my appetite. Makes sense since it’s giving me this energy boost, which allows me to do more each day, so I need sustenance. What I love about this is how it’s regulating my sleep. Altho I still stay up late the past few days because of work, I still would get that sort of sleep that’s really sleeping. I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that there were times before when I had wanted to sleep but can’t then when I do fall asleep, I’d be waking up countless times. This ends up with me more tired than rested, not to mention, grumpy the next day.
DAY 16 • 06 April
This day offered a tinge of stress since I realised that there’s a major errand I need to finish which involves another old blog, StyleManila.com. So I found myself multi-tasking again — coordinating with my cousin (my saviour!), emails, taking care of another delivery that arrived, and sorting out another project I’ve been working on. Boy, am I glad that I was able to sort out the StyleManila bit (huge weight off my shoulders) and finishing quite a number of things for the other project (will blog about it when ready!).
You’d think that with all the constant, albeit minute, stresses I’d encounter in a day. I’d age faster. Then again, I was actually complaining earlier that I’m growing more white hair now so maybe I am, haha. I’m hoping my current regimen will help slow it down a bit. Yes, I’m not asking that it’d reverse it — I’d be happy with simply slowing things down.
Anyway, my efforts to manage the stress plus the fact that I’ve crossed the halfway mark were rewarded with a good serving of halo-halo (a local delicacy) then followed by pasta and nacho snacks prepared by my mom because it’s my sister‘s birthday!
Celebrations all around!
You? How do you celebrate reaching milestones?
