Suddenly, everything goes into slow motion. Moments when you were seemingly having an out-of-body experience and you feel like you’re just a spectator to your own life. Then it stops. You find out you were holding your breath. Instead of letting in air, you drowned.
At least, that’s what it felt like. For a moment.
I’m amazed at how a single photo can actually capture the emotion from that one important moment in your life.
Trivia: Photo taken at The Medical City lobby-slash-driveway, May 2008; also seen here.
