Footprints

Do you know where you’re going? Do you walk? Do you run? Do you trust the ground you’re standing on?

These footprints are memories that tell me you were once here.

Uncertain. I want to run away from memories as many as the grains of sand. Yet I walk a steady pace. I’m waiting for the wave to turn back into a ripple; the ripple will pass.
