Seeing something through to the end brought me a sense of accomplishment. You know how some folks would start something but give up somewhere along the way perhaps because it’s not turning out the way they had expected it to turn out, or maybe because no one’s there to cheer them on? There were times I had wanted to cut the project short but I’m happy that I didn’t so I’m giving myself a pat on the back, haha.
Here we are. Reporting in on the final 4 days of the #NS30 Project. Has it really been 30 days? Well, technically, I’m on my 32nd day now. Yes! I’m still tracking the progress of being on my new regimen esp since I did see improvement in my over-all well-being.
DAY 27 • 17 April
This was the start of the week when I decided to give another product a go — the Nu Skin Polishing Peel. I wasn’t sure if it was a good idea seeing that there were a lot of things on my plate as it is — from the number of new products I’d started using, to managing a growing workload — but I thought it might do me good to add a new thing just to keep things interesting. It’s a new routine after all but, 3 weeks in, I was starting to find things too monotonous. So, I guess, it was my way of injecting a bit of excitement to the whole experience.
The peel requires me to use it 3 times for the 1st week then twice a week thereafter. As of writing this post, I’ve already used it 3 times.
The skincare regimen I’m adapting is starting to be more complex, I admit. That’s why I’m giving this a few more weeks of use to see which ones I’ll be dropping and what I’ll be keeping. If you’ve been with me from the start of this project, you’re prolly wondering how I’ve managed to keep track of everything — I’ll let you in on a secret: I have a calendar where I note the schedule for each product I use, haha. Should I share that here as well? If you reckon you’d find it useful, I just might.
DAY 28 • 18 April
Was focused more on work than anything else. From handling emails and calls, to working on the website — then add the fact that you need to deal with the extremely hot weather! — it was a wonder how I was able to concentrate. How do you deal with this heat? Seriously.
It was one of those days that made me quite thankful that I’ve started taking supplements. Wasn’t the sort who would — was
a lot skeptical — but now that I am, I’m really seeing and feeling the difference. I’ve been taking the ageLOC Y-Span and LifePak combo, serves as my multivits and anti-ageing supplement. I reckon, next up is getting back to adding physical exercises to my schedule to up my energy levels even more and maybe tone my muscles a little.
Anyway, I had originally planned on a face mask session that day but failed to do so because of the heat.
Just to clarify, I’ve been using 2 kinds of facial masks — the Epoch Glacial Marine Mud on Sundays, and the Nu Skin Clay Mask once or twice between Monday and Saturday. I would make sure that there are intervals of at least a day between use. See what I mean that adding the Polishing Peel to the whole routine makes the schedule too crowded? Well, in my defence, I am planning to trim this down in a week or so. I’m still getting to know the products anyway.
P.S. Notice how my hair looks! I’m so in love with the ReNu Hair Mask, haha.
